रावणभवनपरिक्रमणं हनूमतः शोकविचारश्च
Hanuman’s Circuit of Ravana’s Palace and the Crisis of Deliberation
तं तु कृच्छ्रगतं दृष्ट्वा पञ्चत्वगतमानसम्।।।।भृशानुरक्तो मेधावी न भविष्यति लक्ष्मणः।
taṁ tu kṛcchragataṁ dṛṣṭvā pañcatvagatamānasam | bhṛśānurakto medhāvī na bhaviṣyati lakṣmaṇaḥ ||
அவரை (ஸ்ரீராமரை) கடும் துயரில் ஆழ்ந்து, மனம் மரணமடைந்ததுபோல் இருந்தவராகக் கண்டு, மிகுந்த அன்புடன் பற்றுடைய ஞானி இலக்குவனும் உயிர் நிலைக்கமாட்டான்.
"Seeing Rama in such a painful state, wise Lakshmana who has given his life to Rama, to whom he is deeply devoted will also not survive.
