वृद्धे पितरि स्वर्याते धर्मेण धुरमावहम्।भ्रातरं देवसङ्काशं स्नेहात्पश्यन् कुशध्वजम्।।।।
vṛddhe pitari svaryāte dharmeṇa dhuram āvaham |
bhrātaraṃ devasaṅkāśaṃ snehāt paśyan kuśadhvajam ||
முதிய தந்தை ஸ்வர்க்கம் சென்றபின், நான் தர்மப்படி ஆட்சிப் பாரத்தை ஏற்றேன். மேலும் தேவனை ஒத்த என் சகோதரன் குஷத்வஜனை அன்புடன் கவனித்தேன்॥
After my aged father attained heaven, I looked after my brother Kusadhwaja, who resembles the celestials, affectionately and ruled the kingdom with righteousness.
