उत्तिष्ठति च शीतांशुश्शशी लोकतमोनुद:।ह्लादयन् प्राणिनां लोके मनांसि प्रभया विभो।।।।

hlādayan prāṇināṃ loke manāṃsi prabhayā vibho ||
ஓ விபோ! குளிர்க் கதிர்களையுடைய, உலக இருளை அகற்றும் சந்திரன் உயர்ந்து எழுந்தான்; தன் பிரபையால் உலகிலுள்ள உயிர்களின் மனங்களை மகிழ்வித்தான்।
