अनेन वनवासेन मया प्राप्तं फलद्वयम्।पितुश्चानृणता धर्मे भरतस्य प्रियं तथा।।।।
anena vanavāsena mayā prāptaṃ phala-dvayam | pituś cānṛṇatā dharme bharatasya priyaṃ tathā ||
இந்த வனவாசத்தால் எனக்கு இருவகைப் பயன் கிடைத்தது—தர்மத்தில் தந்தையின் கடனைத் தீர்த்தேன்; பரதனுக்கும் மனநிறைவு அளித்தேன்।
By living in the forest I have achieved a two-fold benefit-discharge of debt of my father with regard to righteousness and causing happiness to Bharata.
