तत्राकरोन्महद्युद्धं राजा दशरथस्तदा।असुरैश्च महाबाहुश्शस्त्रैश्च शकलीकृतः।।।।
tatrākaron mahad yuddhaṃ rājā daśarathas tadā | asuraiś ca mahābāhuḥ śastraiś ca śakalīkṛtaḥ ||
அங்கே அப்போது அரசன் தசரதன் பெரும் போரை நிகழ்த்தினான்; ஆனால் மகாபாகுவான அரசன் அசுரர்களின் ஆயுதங்களால் வெட்டப்பட்டு சிதறச் சிதறக் காயமுற்றான்॥
