उत्पातदर्शनं खरसैन्यसमागमश्च
Omens of calamity and the approach of Khara’s army
उद्यतानां हि युद्धार्थं येषां भवति लक्ष्मण।निष्प्रभं वदनं तेषां भवत्यायुः परिक्षयः।।।।
udyatānāṃ hi yuddhārthaṃ yeṣāṃ bhavati lakṣmaṇa |
niṣprabhaṃ vadanaṃ teṣāṃ bhavaty āyuḥ parikṣayaḥ ||
ஹே லக்ஷ்மணா! போருக்கென எழுந்தவர்களில் யாருடைய முகஒளி மங்குகிறதோ, அவர்களின் ஆயுள் குறையத் தொடங்கும்—மரணம் அவர்களை அணுகி நிற்கும்.
