वरं वृणीष्व भद्रं ते किमिच्छसि महामते । एवमुक्तः स राजेंद्र रामः प्रवदतां वरः

varaṃ vṛṇīṣva bhadraṃ te kimicchasi mahāmate | evamuktaḥ sa rājeṃdra rāmaḥ pravadatāṃ varaḥ

“வரம் தேர்ந்தெடு—உனக்கு நன்மை உண்டாகுக. ஓ மகாமதி! நீ என்ன விரும்புகிறாய்?” என்று கூறப்பட்டபோது, ஓ அரசேந்தரா, பேச்சில் சிறந்த ராமன் உரைத்தான்.
