Unspecified (narrative/expository voice within Sṛṣṭikhaṇḍa)
Concept: Creation is analyzed as threefold—tattva-sarga, bhāva-sarga, and bhūta-sarga; Pradhāna is constituted of the guṇas and understood through Sāṅkhya enumeration.
Application: Notice guṇa-patterns in mind (sattva/rajas/tamas) and choose practices that increase sattva (clean diet, truthfulness, japa), making bhakti and vrata observance steadier.
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta
Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A triptych-like cosmic tableau shows three panels: tattvas unfolding as luminous symbols, bhāvas as subtle moods and destinies personified, and bhūtas as the five elements forming worlds. At the base, Pradhāna appears as a swirling tri-colored vortex—white (sattva), red (rajas), and dark (tamas)—from which forms emerge.","primary_figures":["symbolic Pradhāna (tri-guṇa vortex)","personified elements (earth, water, fire, air, ether)","optional: a sage annotating the cosmic diagram"],"setting":"cosmic mandala space with three-panel composition; floating glyphs and elemental landscapes","lighting_mood":"divine radiance","color_palette":["sattvic pearl white","rajasic crimson","tamasic charcoal","aqua blue","gold"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: three-panel cosmology—tattva-sarga, bhāva-sarga, bhūta-sarga—rendered as ornate compartments with gold leaf separators, Pradhāna as tri-guṇa spiral at center, jewel-toned elements, traditional iconographic symmetry and rich borders.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: elegant triptych composition with delicate symbols for tattvas, soft washes for bhāvas, lyrical landscapes for elements, restrained palette with precise linework, contemplative scientific-poetic mood.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: bold outlines, compartmentalized cosmic diagram, tri-guṇa spiral in red/yellow/black-green tones, stylized element deities, temple-wall instructional aesthetic, strong color blocks.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: lotus-mandala divided into three rings labeled by imagery—principles, states, elements—tri-guṇa colors woven through floral borders, deep indigo ground with gold detailing, intricate symmetry and decorative abundance."}

Sandhi Resolution Notes: भूतसर्गश्च = भूतसर्गः + च. अन्यत्र सन्धिः न्यूनः; परिसंख्याय इति चतुर्थी-एकवचनस्य पुराणप्रयोगः (परिसंख्याय = परिसंख्यायै).
They are three lenses for describing creation: (1) tattva-sarga—evolution of metaphysical principles/categories; (2) bhāva-sarga—arising of conditions or dispositions that structure experience and life; (3) bhūta-sarga—manifestation of beings and/or the elemental world.
It adopts Sāṅkhya’s ‘enumeration and analysis’ (saṃkhyā/parisaṃkhyā) to explain cosmology, identifying Pradhāna as the guṇa-based material cause from which manifest creation proceeds.
It asserts that primordial Nature is not inert matter alone but a dynamic equilibrium of sattva, rajas, and tamas; creation is understood as transformation driven by changes in these guṇas.
