Unspecified (narratorial description within Sṛṣṭikhaṇḍa context)

Concept: True purification matures into yoga: right conduct, posture, and sustained meditation culminating in brahma-saṃyoga (mind yoked to Brahman) supported by measured diet.

Application: Build a simple daily triad: (1) clean conduct (ācāra), (2) a stable seat (āsana) for 10–20 minutes, (3) one-pointed remembrance; keep diet and media intake measured to protect attention.

Primary Rasa: shanta

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"On a clean riverbank platform, ascetics sit in steady āsana, spines aligned like temple pillars, breath quiet and even. Their minds are depicted as a subtle thread of light rising from the heart and merging into a vast, formless radiance above, while simple bowls of measured food rest untouched nearby.","primary_figures":["Meditating munis/vratins","Subtle Brahman-radiance (formless light)"],"setting":"Hermitage edge near water, woven grass mats, minimal ritual items, a quiet grove behind","lighting_mood":"divine radiance","color_palette":["pearl white","pale gold","sage green","smoky blue","terracotta"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: seated ascetics in symmetrical meditation, gold-leaf aura representing Brahman above them, rich ornamental border, detailed mats and vessels, warm reds and greens with luminous highlights, sacred geometry subtly embedded behind the figures.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: serene yogic tableau with delicate shading, cool greens and blues, refined faces with half-closed eyes, soft river shimmer, minimalistic bowls indicating regulated diet, gentle hills in the distance.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: bold outlines of meditating sages, stylized breath and mind-stream motifs as curling light, strong pigment blocks, temple-wall stillness, iconic representation of Brahman as a radiant circular field.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: central meditating figure surrounded by lotus-petal mandala, border of small motifs symbolizing ācāra-āsana-dhyāna, deep blue background with gold and white highlights, peacocks subdued to maintain contemplative mood."}

Audio Atmosphere: {"recitation_mood":"meditative","suggested_raga":"Durga","pace":"slow-meditative","voice_tone":"serene","sound_elements":["silence","soft tanpura drone","distant flowing water","occasional bell"]}

Brahman

FAQs

It highlights disciplined purity (snāna), ethical conduct (ācāra), yogic posture (āsana), sustained meditation (dhyāna), and regulation of diet (niyata-āhāra) as supports for fixing the mind in Brahman.

By stating “joining the mind to Brahman,” it frames external disciplines and inner meditation as coordinated means for steady concentration and contemplative absorption aimed at the Absolute.

It implies moderation and self-restraint: spiritual progress is supported by measured living, avoiding excess and cultivating steadiness of body and mind.
