The Greatness of the Gaṇḍakī River and the Śālagrāma Stone

ब्राह्मणः क्षत्रियो वैश्यः शूद्रो वेदपथि स्थितः । शालग्रामं पूजयित्वा गृहस्थो मोक्षमाप्नुयात्

brāhmaṇaḥ kṣatriyo vaiśyaḥ śūdro vedapathi sthitaḥ | śālagrāmaṃ pūjayitvā gṛhastho mokṣamāpnuyāt

வேத மார்க்கத்தில் நிலைபெற்ற பிராமணன், க்ஷத்திரியன், வைசியன் அல்லது சூத்திரன்—இல்லறத்தனாக இருந்தாலும்—சாலகிராமத்தை வழிபட்டு மோட்சத்தை அடைகிறான்.
