Brahmā
Concept: Śravaṇa with samādhāna (full attention) is itself a devotional act; Rādhā’s observance is narrated as inseparable from Hari.
Application: When learning sacred practices, listen with single-pointed attention; keep the center on Hari even when honoring associated divine figures.
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
Type: celestial_realm

Behind Brahmā, a subtle vision of Hari—blue and radiant—appears as the unspoken center of the narration, indicating that the story will not exclude Him.","primary_figures":["Brahmā","Nārada","Hari (Vishnu/Krishna as a radiant presence)"],"setting":"Brahmā’s lotus-throne pavilion with floating lotuses, veena resting near Nārada, and a manuscript stand","lighting_mood":"divine radiance","color_palette":["lotus pink","celestial white","sapphire blue","marigold gold","soft turquoise"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: Brahmā on a lotus throne with four faces and gold-leaf halo, Nārada seated with vīṇā in attentive posture; a radiant blue Hari-form in the background niche; thick gold embellishment on crowns and jewelry, rich reds/greens, ornate arch with lotus carvings.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: airy celestial pavilion with pale sky washes; Brahmā gently gesturing, Nārada leaning in with vīṇā; delicate lotus clusters and soft sapphire aura of Hari behind; refined facial features, lyrical composition, cool pastel palette.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: Brahmā with bold outlines and stylized eyes, seated on lotus; Nārada with vīṇā and folded attention; a blue Hari silhouette within a glowing aureole; warm yellow-red-green pigments, temple-wall symmetry, patterned borders.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: central medallion of Brahmā teaching Nārada, surrounded by lotus vines and peacocks; deep blue panel suggesting Hari’s presence with gold highlights; intricate floral borders, rhythmic repetition of lotuses, devotional textile aesthetic."}

Sandhi Resolution Notes: ब्रह्मोवाच = ब्रह्मा + उवाच (स्वर-सन्धि). तस्माच्छत... etc not in this verse. ‘समासेन’ here functions adverbially (‘in brief’).
It introduces Rādhā-janmāṣṭamī, the Aṣṭamī (eighth lunar day) associated with the celebration/observance of Rādhā’s birth.
By stating that the narration will not be “without Hari” (hariṇā vinā), it frames the topic as inseparable from devotion to Hari (Viṣṇu/Kṛṣṇa), a hallmark of Vaiṣṇava bhakti.
The listener is asked to hear “susaṃāhitaḥ” (with a steady, attentive mind), implying disciplined listening and receptivity as a prerequisite for understanding sacred teachings.
