उज्ज्वल उवाच । वद तात परं ज्ञानं परमं मम सांप्रतम् । पश्चाद्ध्यान व्रतं पुण्यं नाम्नां शतमिहैव च

உஜ்ஜ்வலன் கூறினான்—அப்பா, என் நலனுக்காக இப்போது பரமமும் உன்னதமும் ஆன ஞானத்தைச் சொல்லுங்கள். அதன் பின் புனிதமான தியானவிரதத்தையும், இங்கேயே நூறு திருநாமங்களையும் கூறுங்கள்.
