Suta (narrating the Narada Purana dialogue/tradition)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It declares Gaṅgā-worship as comprehensive worship: honoring Gaṅgā is treated as honoring all devas, emphasizing her status as a supreme tīrtha and purifier in the Uttara-Bhāga’s tīrtha-māhātmya.
It presents a simple bhakti practice—reverent pūjā of Gaṅgā—as a direct, accessible act of devotion that gathers the merit of many devatā-upāsanās into one focused offering.
Ritual application (kalpa-oriented practice) is implied: performing pūjā with ‘sarva-prayatna’ (proper care, purity, and procedure) at a tīrtha, even though no specific śikṣā/vyākaraṇa/jyotiṣa detail is stated in this verse.
