Gaṅgā-māhātmya
नमः शिवायेति मंत्रं सतारं विधिना तु यः । चतुर्विशतिलक्षं वै जपेत्साक्षात्सशंकरः ॥ ३० ॥
namaḥ śivāyeti maṃtraṃ satāraṃ vidhinā tu yaḥ | caturviśatilakṣaṃ vai japetsākṣātsaśaṃkaraḥ || 30 ||
விதிப்படி பிரணவத்துடன் ‘ஓம் நமः சிவாய’ மந்திரத்தை இருபத்திநான்கு லட்சம் முறை ஜபிப்பவன், வெளிப்படையாகவே சங்கரரூபம் அடைவான்।
