Māgha-snāna, Harivāsara, and the Kāṣṭhīlā-Upākhyāna
धर्म्मसेवार्थकं स्नानं नांगनैर्मल्यहेतुकम् । होमार्थं सेवनं वह्नेर्न च शीतादिहानये ॥ १३ ॥

நீராடல் தர்மசேவைக்காகவே செய்யப்பட வேண்டும்; உடல் அழுக்கு நீக்கத்திற்காக மட்டும் அல்ல. அதுபோல அக்னிசேவை ஹோமத்திற்காகவே; குளிர் முதலியவற்றைத் தடுக்க அல்ல।
