ततो मां प्रार्थयामास देहि मेऽङ्गविभूषणम् । तन्मया नहि दत्तं तु भर्त्रे व्यसनिने तदा ॥ ६२ ॥
tato māṃ prārthayāmāsa dehi me'ṅgavibhūṣaṇam | tanmayā nahi dattaṃ tu bhartre vyasanine tadā || 62 ||
பின்னர் அவர் என்னிடம், “உன் அணிகலன்களை எனக்குக் கொடு” என்று வேண்டினார். ஆனால் அப்போது தீவழக்கில் விழுந்த கணவருக்கு நான் அவற்றை அளிக்கவில்லை।
