Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: karuna
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents dharma in action: calming conflict, giving wise counsel, and redirecting wealth toward rightful, socially harmonizing support of one’s kin—an applied form of righteous living.
While not explicitly naming bhakti, it supports a bhakti-aligned life by emphasizing sattvic conduct—compassion, restraint, and generosity—which purifies the mind and makes devotion stable.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa) is taught directly; the practical takeaway is dharma-nīti in household life—ethical counsel and appropriate distribution of resources (dāna/arthavyavahāra).
