The Description of the Glory of Dvādaśī
yamunā caṃdrabhāgā ca puṇyā bhūpa harerdināt | anāyāsena rājeṃdra prāpyate harimaṃdiram || 18 ||
Narada
Vrata: Hari-dina (unspecified; likely a Vishnu-vrata day such as Ekadashi in broader tradition)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It links tīrtha (holy rivers like Yamunā and Candrabhāgā) with Hari-bhakti: a single day devoted to Hari becomes a direct, low-effort means to reach Hari’s divine abode.
Bhakti is shown as accessible and powerful—dedicating a day to Hari (Hari-dina) is portrayed as sufficient to bestow the highest goal, especially when supported by tīrtha-saṅga (association with sacred places).
It implies Kalpa (ritual discipline) through the idea of a timed religious observance (a ‘day of Hari’/vrata-style practice), though no specific Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa detail is stated in this verse.
