पिंडकर्तरि बीजाख्या मन्त्रा मालाभिधाः क्रमात् । एकार्णवन्तो द्व्यर्णाश्च त्रिदिङ्मुखार्णकाः ॥ ५ ॥

Transliteration

piṃḍakartari bījākhyā mantrā mālābhidhāḥ kramāt | ekārṇavanto dvyarṇāśca tridiṅmukhārṇakāḥ || 5 ||

Translation

‘பிண்டகர்த்த்ரி’ விதியில் ‘பீஜ’ எனப்படும் மந்திரங்கள் வரிசையாக ‘மாலா’ என்றும் அழைக்கப்படுகின்றன. அவை மூன்று வகை: ஒரெழுத்து, இரெழுத்து, மற்றும் மூன்று திசைமுகம் கொண்ட மூன்றெழுத்து.
