Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in a technical Vedanga/mantra context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It teaches that mantras are not merely recited but carefully installed (especially in the ‘heart’ position) and then awakened; the verse highlights inner consecration and energizing of bīja-mantras as part of effective upāsanā.
By emphasizing heart-centered placement and enlivening of sacred syllables, it frames devotion as inward absorption (hṛdaya-sthāpanā) where the practitioner’s consciousness becomes a vessel for the deity’s mantra-power.
It points to practical mantra-prayoga used in ritual and meditation—nyāsa-like placement (hṛdaya) and ‘dīpana’ (activation) procedures for bīja syllables, a technical aspect aligned with applied ritual science.
