रामश्चतुर्दशसमा दंडकान्प्रविवास्यताम् । तदाकर्ण्या हमुद्युक्तोऽरण्यं भार्यानुजान्वितः ॥ १७ ॥

Transliteration

rāmaścaturdaśasamā daṃḍakānpravivāsyatām | tadākarṇyā hamudyukto'raṇyaṃ bhāryānujānvitaḥ || 17 ||

Translation

“ராமரை பதினான்கு ஆண்டுகள் தண்டக வனத்திற்கு வனவாசம் அனுப்புக.” இதைக் கேட்டதும் நானும் மனைவியுடனும் இளைய சகோதரர்களுடனும் காட்டிற்கு புறப்பட்டேன்.
