वीर्यार्जुनाय माहिष्मतीनाथाय सहस्र च । बाहवे इति वर्णांते सहस्रपदमुच्चरेत् ॥ ८५ ॥
vīryārjunāya māhiṣmatīnāthāya sahasra ca | bāhave iti varṇāṃte sahasrapadamuccaret || 85 ||
மாஹிஷ்மதியின் நாதனான வீர்யார்ஜுனருக்காக ‘ஸஹஸ்ர’ என்ற சொல்லையும் உச்சரிக்க வேண்டும். மேலும் எழுத்துகளின் முடிவில் ‘பாஹவே’ என முடியும் ஸஹஸ்ர-பதத்தையும் (ஸஹஸ்ரநாம/சூத்திரம்) ஜபிக்க வேண்டும்.
