नामार्णान्यचतुष्कात्तु द्वितीये मंत्रवर्णके । चतुष्के चेत्तदा पूर्वं यत्र नामाक्षरं स्थितम् ॥ ८ ॥
nāmārṇānyacatuṣkāttu dvitīye maṃtravarṇake | catuṣke cettadā pūrvaṃ yatra nāmākṣaraṃ sthitam || 8 ||
பெயரெழுத்துகள் நான்காகக் குழுவாக இல்லையெனில், மந்திர எழுத்துகளின் இரண்டாம் நால்குழுவில்—நால்குழு விதி செய்ய வேண்டுமெனில்—பெயரெழுத்து உள்ள இடத்திலேயே முதலில் அமைக்க வேண்டும்.
