षट् क्रमसु प्रशस्तास्ते मनवस्त्रिविधाः पुनः । तारांत्यरेफः स्वाहास्तु तत्राग्नेयाः समीरिताः ॥ ६ ॥
ṣaṭ kramasu praśastāste manavastrividhāḥ punaḥ | tārāṃtyarephaḥ svāhāstu tatrāgneyāḥ samīritāḥ || 6 ||
ஆறு கிரமங்களில் அவை (மனு/மந்திர-ரூபங்கள்) சிறந்தவை எனப் போற்றப்படுகின்றன; மேலும் அவை மூன்று வகை எனவும் கூறப்படுகின்றன. அதில் அக்னேய (அக்னி சார்ந்த)வை—‘தாரா’, ‘அந்த்ய’, ‘ரேப’, ‘ஸ்வாஹா’—என்று அறிவிக்கப்பட்டன।
