Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada within the Narada Purana dialogue frame)
Vrata: viṣṇu-māsa-vrata (context)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches steady, daily upāsanā: offering pañcāmṛta-abhiṣeka and maintaining an unbroken lamp as symbols of purity, gratitude, and uninterrupted remembrance of Hari.
Bhakti is shown as consistent service (nitya-sevā)—daily bathing of the deity and continuous dīpa—so devotion becomes a sustained inner orientation rather than an occasional act.
Ritual procedure and correct observance (kalpa/ācāra): following ‘vidhāna’ (prescribed method) for pañcāmṛta and maintaining an akhaṇḍa-dīpa as part of vrata and temple/home worship discipline.
