श्रावणे मास्यमावास्या फाल्गुने मासि पौर्णिमा । आषाढें कार्तिके मासि ज्यष्ठे चैत्रे च पौर्णिमा ॥ १५१ ॥
śrāvaṇe māsyamāvāsyā phālgune māsi paurṇimā | āṣāḍheṃ kārtike māsi jyaṣṭhe caitre ca paurṇimā || 151 ||
ஸ்ராவண மாதத்தில் அமாவாசை அனுஷ்டிக்கப்பட வேண்டும்; பால்குண மாதத்தில் பௌர்ணமி. ஆஷாடம், கார்த்திகம் மாதங்களிலும், அதுபோல ஜ்யேஷ்டம், சைத்ரம் மாதங்களிலும் பௌர்ணமி திதியே கடைப்பிடிக்கப்பட வேண்டும்.
