तत्तन्मासैर्द्वादशभिस्तत्तदष्टौ भवेत्ततः । गुरुमध्यमचारेण षष्ट्यब्दाः प्रभवादयः ॥ ११४ ॥

Transliteration

tattanmāsairdvādaśabhistattadaṣṭau bhavettataḥ | gurumadhyamacāreṇa ṣaṣṭyabdāḥ prabhavādayaḥ || 114 ||

Translation

அந்தந்த மாதங்கள் பன்னிரண்டு சேர்ந்தால் ஒரு ஆண்டு ஆகும்; பின்னர் அதே கணக்கில் மேலும் எட்டு (ஆண்டுகள்) உருவாகும். குருவின் நடுக்கோள் இயக்கத்தின்படி பிரபவ முதலான அறுபது ஆண்டுகள் கூறப்படுகின்றன.
