Jyotiṣa-saṅgraha: Varga-vibhāga, Bala-nirṇaya, Garbha-phala, Āyuḥ-gaṇanā
चंद्रागांतरगैः खेटैः सूतिकाः समुदाहृताः । चक्राद्धि बहिरंतश्च दृश्यादृश्योपरेऽन्यथा ॥ ९० ॥
caṃdrāgāṃtaragaiḥ kheṭaiḥ sūtikāḥ samudāhṛtāḥ | cakrāddhi bahiraṃtaśca dṛśyādṛśyopare'nyathā || 90 ||
சந்திரன் செல்லும் பாதையின் உள்ளே தோன்றும் கிரகக் குறியீடுகள் ‘சூதிகா’ என அழைக்கப்படுகின்றன. அவை வட்டத்தின் வெளியிலும் உள்ளிலும் இருக்கலாம்; மேலும் உயர்ந்த உலகங்களில் சில நேரம் காணத்தக்கவையாகவும் சில நேரம் காணாதவையாகவும் வேறு விதமாகவும் வெளிப்படும்।
