Transliteration

chāyā śrṛṅgonnatiyutī pātasādhānamīritam | jātake rāśibhedāśca grahayoniśca yonijam || 4 ||

Translation

நிழல்-சங்கு, கொம்பு-யந்திரம், உயர்வு-அளவீடு முதலியவற்றால் ‘பாத’ (அவநதி) நிர்ணயிக்கும் முறை கூறப்பட்டது. ஜாதகத்திலும் ராசி வேறுபாடுகள், கிரஹ-யோனி, அவற்றிலிருந்து பிறக்கும் யோனிஜம் ஆகியவை விளக்கப்பட்டன.
