Sanatkumara (teaching Narada a litany of sacred names for recitation)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
This verse functions as a continuation of a name-list used for sacred recitation: the act of remembering and chanting such epithets is presented as a Moksha-oriented discipline that steadies the mind in auspiciousness (śaṃ) and peace (śānti).
It supports Bhakti through nāma-smaraṇa (remembrance of divine names): devotion is practiced by repeatedly reciting auspicious epithets, cultivating inner peace and single-pointed reverence rather than mere intellectual study.
The practical emphasis is on correct mantra-style recitation and preservation of name-forms—closely aligned with Śikṣā (phonetics) and Vyākaraṇa (accurate word-forms) to keep the chant precise and efficacious.
