It grounds spiritual discipline in tattva-viveka (discernment of principles) by classifying common food-offering substances as belonging to the earth-element, encouraging clarity about the material constituents that support embodied dharma.
While not directly praising bhakti, it supports bhakti-practice by identifying standard offering materials (grains, ghee, milk products, fruits) used in worship and vrata, framing them within an elemental understanding rather than mere consumption.
It reflects applied dravya-jñāna used in ritual procedure (kalpa-oriented practice): knowing which substances are suitable for offerings and how they are categorized in elemental/tattva terms for correct observance.
