इत्यतः पंचभिर्युक्तैर्युक्तं स्थावरजंगमम् । श्रोत्रे घ्राणो रसः स्पर्शो दृष्टिश्चेंद्रियसंज्ञिताः ॥ ६२ ॥

இவ்வாறு பஞ்சத்தால் கூடிய நிலைபெற்றதும் நகர்வதும் ஆகிய அனைத்துலகமும் அமைந்துள்ளது. செவி, மூக்கு, நாவு (ருசி), தொடு, பார்வை—இவையே இந்திரிய சக்திகள் எனப்படும்.
