यज्ञोपवीती निर्वर्त्य ततः पर्युक्षणादिकम् प्राचीनावीतिना कार्यम् अतः सर्वं विजानता //

Transliteration

yajñopavītī nirvartya tataḥ paryukṣaṇādikam prācīnāvītinā kāryam ataḥ sarvaṃ vijānatā //

Translation

யஜ்ஞோபவீதத்தை யஜ்ஞோபவீதீ நிலையில் அமைத்தபின், பர்யுக்ஷண முதலிய செயல்களைச் செய்ய வேண்டும்; ஆனால் இவை அனைத்தும் ப்ராசீனாவீத நிலையில் செய்யத்தக்கவை என்று முழு விதி அறிந்தவன் உணர்கிறான்.
