विष्टभ्य चरणौ देव्या वीरको बाष्पगद्गदम् प्रोवाच मातः किंत्वेतत् क्व यासि कुपितान्तरा //

Transliteration

viṣṭabhya caraṇau devyā vīrako bāṣpagadgadam provāca mātaḥ kiṃtvetat kva yāsi kupitāntarā //

Translation

தேவியின் பாதங்களைப் பற்றிக்கொண்டு வீரகன்—கண்ணீரால் குரல் தடுக்க—கூறினான்: “அம்மா, இது என்ன? உள்ளத்தில் கோபம் கொண்டு எங்கே செல்கிறாய்?”
