जनमेजयस्य राजर्षेर् महाशालो ऽभवत्सुतः आसीद् इन्द्रसमो राजा प्रतिष्ठितयशाभवत् //

Transliteration

janamejayasya rājarṣer mahāśālo 'bhavatsutaḥ āsīd indrasamo rājā pratiṣṭhitayaśābhavat //

Translation

ராஜரிஷி ஜனமேஜயனுக்கு மகாஶாலன் என்னும் மகன் பிறந்தான். அவன் இந்திரனுக்கு ஒப்பான அரசனாய் விளங்கி, அவன் புகழ் உறுதியாக நிலைபெற்றது.
