kā tvaṃ cārumukhī śyāmā sumṛṣṭamaṇikuṇḍalā dīrghaṃ dhyāyasi cātyarthaṃ kasmācchvasiṣi cāturā //

Translation

நீ யார்—கருநிறத்தவளே, அழகிய முகத்தவளே, நன்கு மெருகூட்டிய மணிக்குண்டலங்களை அணிந்தவளே? நீ இவ்வளவு நீண்ட நேரம் மிக ஆழமாக ஏன் சிந்திக்கிறாய், மேலும் ஏன் இவ்வளவு கலக்கத்துடன் நெடுமூச்சு விடுகிறாய்?
