Adhyaya 88 — The Manifestation of the Matrikas and the Slaying of Raktabija
ऐन्द्रीकुलिशपातेन शतशो दैत्यदानवाः ।
पेतुर्विदारिताः पृथ्व्यां रुधिरौघप्रवर्षिणः ॥
aindrī-kuliśa-pātena śataśo daitya-dānavāḥ /
petur vidāritāḥ pṛthvyāṃ rudhiraugha-pravarṣiṇaḥ //
ஐந்த்ரீயின் வஜ்ரப் பாய்ச்சலால் நூற்றுக்கணக்கான தைத்தியர்-தானவர்கள் பிளந்து, இரத்தப் பெருக்கைச் சிந்தியவாறே பூமியில் விழுந்தனர்।
