Adhyaya 84 — The Gods’ Hymn after the Slaying of Mahishasura and the Goddess’ Boon
इत्येतत्कथितं भूप सम्भूता सा यथा पुरा ।
देवी देवशरीरेभ्यो जगत्त्रय हितैषिणी ॥
ity etat kathitaṃ bhūpa sambhūtā sā yathā purā | devī devaśarīrebhyo jagattrayahitaiṣiṇī ||
அரசே, இவ்வாறு உனக்குச் சொல்லப்பட்டது—அவள் முன்புபோலவே வெளிப்பட்டாள்; தேவர்களின் உடல்களிலிருந்து தோன்றி, மூவுலக நலனைக் கருதி எழுந்த தேவியாவாள்।
