Adhyaya 82 — The Rise of Mahishasura and the Manifestation of the Goddess from the Gods’ Tejas
स ददर्श ततो देवीं व्याप्तलोकत्रयां त्विषा ।
पादाक्रान्त्या नतभुवं किरीटोल्लिखिताम्बराम् ॥
sa dadarśa tato devīṃ vyāpta-loka-trayāṃ tviṣā |
pādākrāntyā nata-bhuvaṃ kirīṭollikhitāmbarām ||
அப்போது அவன், மும்மையுலகமெங்கும் பரவிய ஒளியுடைய தேவியை கண்டான்—அவளது பாதங்களின் அழுத்தத்தால் பூமி வளைந்தது; அவளது கிரீடம் வானத்தைத் தொட்டதுபோல் தோன்றியது।
