यैः सन्त्यज्य पितृस्नेहं धनलुब्धैर्निराकृतः ।
पतिस्वजनहार्दं च हार्दि तेष्वेव मे मनः ॥
yaiḥ santyajya pitṛ-snehaṃ dhana-lubdhair nirākṛtaḥ |
pati-svajana-hārdaṃ ca hārdi teṣv eva me manaḥ ||
செல்வ ஆசையால் என்னைத் தள்ளிவிட்டவர்கள்—மகன்கள் தந்தைக்கு உரிய பாசத்தையும் விட்டவர்கள்—தாம்பத்தியமும் உறவுப் பாசமும் ஒதுக்கியிருந்தாலும், என் இதயம் அவர்களிடமே தங்குகிறது.
