शातनं तेजसो मे 'द्य क्रियतामिति भास्करः ।
तञ्चाह विश्वकर्माणं संज्ञायाः पितरं द्विज ॥
śātanaṃ tejaso me 'dya kriyatām iti bhāskaraḥ / tañ cāha viśvakarmāṇaṃ saṃjñāyāḥ pitaraṃ dvija
“இன்று என் தேஜஸின் குறைப்பு செய்யப்படுக,” என்று பாஸ்கரன் கூறினான்; ஓ பிராமணரே, சஞ்ஞையின் தந்தை விஸ்வகர்மனிடம் அவன் இவ்வாறு உரைத்தான்।
