Adhyaya 63 — The Birth of Svarocis and the Rescue of Manoramā: The Astra-Heart and the Healing of Curses
अहञ्चेन्दीवराख्येति ख्यातो 'स्य जनको 'भवम् । विद्याधरपतेः पुत्रो नलनाभस्य खङ्गिनः ॥
ahañ cendīvarākhyeti khyāto 'sya janako 'bhavam | vidyādharapateḥ putro nalanābhasya khaṅginaḥ ||
மேலும் நான் ‘எண்டீவர’ என்ற பெயரால் அறியப்பட்டேன்; வித்யாதரர்களின் வாள் தாங்கிய தலைவன் நலநாபனின் மகனாகிய நான், அவனுக்குத் தந்தையாக ஆனேன்।

High birth or celestial status does not immunize one from ethical failure; the narrative contrasts former splendor with later degradation to stress accountability.
