राशयश्च तथर्क्षेषु ग्रहराशिष्ववस्थिताः ।
तस्माद् ग्रहर्क्षपीडासु देशपीडां विनिर्दिशेत् ॥
rāśayaśca tatharkṣeṣu graharāśiṣvavasthitāḥ / tasmād graharkṣapīḍāsu deśapīḍāṃ vinirdiśet
ராசிகள் நக்ஷத்திரங்களிலும் நிலைகொண்டுள்ளன; கிரகங்கள் ராசிகளில் நிறுவப்பட்டுள்ளன. ஆகையால் கிரகங்களும் நக்ஷத்திரங்களும் பீடிக்கப்படும்போது, அதற்குரிய பகுதியின் பீடையை ஆராய்ந்து தீர்மானிக்க வேண்டும்.
