न वै चतुर्युगावस्था नार्तवा ऋतवो न च ।
आग्नीध्रसूनोर्नाभेस्तु ऋषभो 'भूत् सुतो द्विज ॥
na vai caturyugāvasthā nārtavā ṛtavo na ca /
āgnīdhrasūnor nābhes tu ṛṣabho 'bhūt suto dvija
அங்கே நான்கு யுகங்களின் நிலைமையும் இல்லை; மாதாந்திர பருவங்களும் இல்லை, ஒழுங்கான பருவச் சுழலும் இல்லை. ஆனால் அக்னீத்ரனின் மகன் நாபிக்கு, ஓ இருமுறை பிறந்தவனே, ரிஷபன் மகனாகப் பிறந்தான்.
