हिमवद्दुहिता साभून्मेनायां द्विजसत्तम ।

तस्या भ्राता तु मैनाकः सखाम्भोधेरनुत्तमः ॥

himavadduhitā sābhūn menāyāṃ dvijasattama | tasyā bhrātā tu mainākaḥ sakhāmbhodher anuttamaḥ ||

ஓ இருமுறைப் பிறந்தவர்களில் சிறந்தவனே! அவள் மேனையின் கருவில் பிறந்து ஹிமவானின் மகளானாள். அவளுடைய சகோதரன் மைநாகன்; அவன் கடலின் ஒப்பற்ற நண்பன்.
