दीपाद्यद्रिसमुद्राश्च राज्योतिर्लोकसंग्रहः ।
जलानिलानलाकाशैस्ततो भूतादिना बहिः ॥
dīpādyadrisamudrāś ca rājyotirlokasaṃgrahaḥ | jalānilānalākāśais tato bhūtādinā bahiḥ
அதில் தீவுகள் முதலியன, மலைகள், கடல்கள் இருந்தன; மேலும் ஒளிகளும் உலகத் தளங்களும் உடனான உலகங்களின் அமைப்பும் இருந்தது. அதன் வெளியே முறையே நீர், காற்று, தீ, ஆகாயம் எனும் உறைகள் இருந்தன; பின்னர் பூதாதி முதலான தத்துவங்கள் தொடர்ந்தன.
