bhūtebhyo 'ṇḍaṃ mahābuddhe ! vṛhattadudakeśayam / prākṛte 'ṇḍe vivṛddhaḥ san kṣetrajño brahmasaṃjñitaḥ

மகாமதியே! பூதங்களிலிருந்து அந்த அண்டம் தோன்றியது—மிகப் பெரிதாய், நீர்மேல் தங்கியது. அந்தப் பிராக்ருத அண்டம் வளர்ந்தபோது, ‘பிரம்மா’ எனப் பெயர்பெற்ற க்ஷேத்ரஜ்ஞன் வெளிப்பட்டான்.
