पितॄniddiśya यद्भक्त्या यजमानो नृपात्मज ॥

Transliteration

pitṛtīrthena toyañca dadyāttebhyaḥ samāhitaḥ / pitṝniddiśya yadbhaktyā yajamāno nṛpātmaja

Translation

அமைதியும் கவனமும் கொண்டு பித்ருத் தீர்த்தத்தால் அவர்களுக்கு நீரை அளிக்க வேண்டும். அரசகுமாரனே, பக்தியுடன் செய்யும் எதையும் பித்ருக்களுக்கு அர்ப்பணித்தே செய்வது உரிய மனப்பாங்காகும்.
