पूर्णेन्दुमालोक्य यथा प्रीतिमान् जायते नरः ।

एवं यत्र प्रजाः सर्वा निर्वत्ता स्तच्छशिव्रतम् ॥

Transliteration

pūrṇendum ālokya yathā prītimān jāyate naraḥ | evaṃ yatra prajāḥ sarvā nirvattās tac chaśi-vratam ||

Translation

முழுநிலாவைக் கண்டால் மனிதன் மகிழ்வதுபோல், எல்லா குடிமக்களும் திருப்தியுடன் நன்கு நிலைபெற்றிருக்கும் நாடே அரசனின் ‘சோம-விரதம்’ (சந்திரன் போன்ற ஆட்சி) ஆகும்.
