Adhyaya 16 — Surya's Dynasty
tad yāntu mama putratvaṃ brahma-viṣṇu-maheśvarāḥ | yogaṃ ca prāpnuyāṃ bhartṛ-sahitā kleśa-muktaye ||

The verse integrates gṛhastha life with liberation: yoga and freedom from kleśas are sought “together with the husband,” presenting marriage as a cooperative spiritual path rather than an obstacle.
Ākhyāna/vaṃśānucarita: it also hints toward vaṃśa (lineage) themes because the boon concerns divine births (sons), but the immediate function is narrative-ethical rather than genealogical listing.
The Trimūrti becoming ‘sons’ symbolizes mastery over creation–preservation–dissolution tendencies within embodied life. ‘Kleśa-mukti’ via yoga indicates transforming household duties into a sādhana that dissolves inner afflictions.
